Hobbiton

Part of our route and one of the best places to visit in New Zeland if you are Nerd it's the movie set from Lord of The Rings triology and The Hobbit, in Matamata in northern New Zeland, Hobbiton has always been a dream to visit, with a perfect scenario for adaptation the film/book, makes the "magic" of it become reality, the best part it's revive and identify places and moments of the triology, like the road which Galdaf passes in the begin of the movie, the Bag End, Green Dragon, the Mill, and other places. I was very interesting to visit the place and see the real giant trees.

At Green Dragon we can really ask for snacks during the tour which are traditional Hobbit food and drinks like Ginger Beer and Fine Grain Amber Ale Girdley.

We had 40 minutes to enjoy the place, and it was enough, but still left to leave a willingness to return and see it all again. If you want to know more, the site of Hobbiton: http://www.hobbitontours.com/
